Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

LI ProfileOptimizer is an independent professional service providing LinkedIn profile content optimization: headline, About/summary section, experience rewrites, skills recommendations, and a custom banner image. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation.

2. The Service

2.1 Scope. We deliver a written report (Word/PDF) containing an optimized headline, About section, experience bullet points, a recommended skills list, and one custom banner image, based on the information you submit through our intake form.

2.2 What we do not do. We do not log into your LinkedIn account, request or store your LinkedIn password, or publish anything on your behalf. You publish the delivered content yourself.

2.3 Delivery time. Standard delivery is 48-72 hours from receipt of a complete intake form (and, for paid orders, receipt of payment).

2.4 Free launch offer. From time to time we offer a limited number of free optimizations (currently the first 10 submissions of a launch window) to build case studies. This offer is limited to one profile per person, is available at our sole discretion, and may end at any time once the stated number of spots is filled.

3. Accounts, Accuracy & Your Responsibilities

3.1 You confirm that all information you provide (name, work history, achievements, screenshots) is accurate and belongs to you.

3.2 We rely on the information you provide and do not independently verify employment history, job titles, dates, or claimed metrics. You are responsible for reviewing the delivered content for factual accuracy before publishing it.

3.3 You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 The standard fee for the Pro Optimization Package is a flat $149 USD, one-time, payable via PayPal invoice before final delivery unless we agree otherwise in writing.

4.2 PayPal's transaction/processing fees are separate from our fee and are non-refundable by PayPal, which affects the amount we're able to refund under Section 6.

4.3 Free-offer clients pay nothing and are not issued an invoice.

5. Revisions

Unlimited revisions are included within the original scope of the engagement (refining the delivered headline/About/experience/banner for the same target role). Requests to pivot to an entirely different target role or industry may be treated as a new, separate engagement.

6. Money-Back Guarantee

Paid clients are covered by our 3-month, 100% money-back guarantee, described in full in our separate Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In short: publish the delivered content as provided, track your LinkedIn dashboard for 90 days, and if none of the defined measurable results appear, you may request a full refund of what you paid, minus PayPal's non-refundable processing fee.

7. No Guarantee of Employment Outcomes

We optimize your profile for recruiter search visibility, clarity, and professionalism. We cannot and do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any hiring outcome, as these decisions are made by third parties outside our control.

8. Intellectual Property

Once delivered (free or paid), the written content and banner are yours to use on your LinkedIn profile, resume, and related personal materials. We retain a limited right to reference anonymized, non-identifying outcome statistics (e.g. aggregate average results) in our own marketing, without using your name, photo, or identifying details without separate written permission.

9. Confidentiality

See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your information is collected, used, and protected. In summary: your details are used only to deliver this Service and are not sold or shared with third parties beyond what's necessary to operate the Service (e.g. Google Sheets/Drive/Gmail used to manage and deliver your order).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service (or, for free-offer clients, limited to providing a corrected or revised deliverable). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost income, missed job opportunities, or reputational harm, arising from your use of the delivered content.

11. Termination

We may decline or discontinue service to anyone at our discretion, including in cases of abusive communication, fraudulent information, or misuse of the free-offer program (e.g. multiple submissions by the same person).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your own country of residence.
